CME Accreditation Charges w.e.f. 1st January 2014
A nominal fee of Rs.1000 / day / CME / workshop / conference will be charged by KMC for all the applications received from 1st January 2014. Payments to be made through DD favouring The Registrar , KMC payable at Bangalore.
Revised CME credit hours allotment w.e.f. 1st January 2014
As per MCI guidelines , any CME program / conference / workshop of 8 hours duration will be allotted Two Credit Hours. A CME program / conference / workshop with less than 4 hours duration will not be considered for CME accreditation. Henceforth this allotment criteria will be followed for all applications received from 1st January 2014.
CME Certificate Format
All the CME / workshop / conference certificates which are sent to the KMC – CME accreditation committee should compulsorily have the names , KMC registration no: of all delegates printed on them , failing which they will not be considered for cme accreditation.
Changed Age Limit for Credit Hours Accumulation
All doctors / medical practitioners are required to gain gain 30 Credit Hours in five years (maximum 6 Credit Hours / year) by attending various conference / CME / workshop till the age of 65 YEARS and get their KMC Registration renewed once in 5 years. After 65 YEARS of age, the doctors / medical practitioners are not required to accumulate Credit Hours. BUT RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION IS COMPULSORY ONCE IN EVERY 5 YEARS.
C.M.E. Hall available for Rent at K.M.C. II Building
Situated at 16/6 Miller Tank Bed Area, Vasanthnagar, Bangalore-560052
It is meant only for Professional Bodies of Medical Faculty to utilize C.M.E. Hall for conducting small conferences, Medical Educational Programmes and C.M.E. Programmes.
The Rent details are as follows :
• Rs.10,000/- per day.
• Rs.7,000/- half day.
